Person himself like in above para , is a big resource of data and millions of sensors , trackers are everywhere to sense the data .Surfing internet , usage of credit cards , fitness trackers , air bookings , on line shopping , hotel chains , orders , social media photos , posts , scanned docs , selfies , Emails , Phone Records , bar codes , signals from sensors , swiping the cards , retails shops , smartphones , thousand of apps , Closed circuit TVs , ..
Everyday we produce ... 2.5 quintillon bytes (one exabyte is one quintillon bytes ) , 25 + 17 " O"s bytes structured + unstructured data . To handle this , only SQL is not sufficient . NO SQL , Hadoop is coming into picture . Effect of Big Data on social , Environmental and tech life is tremendous .That is why we live in VUCA World . Volatile , Uncertain , Complex and Ambiguous .
